Scout by Sutter Health

Overview

In response to the growing mental health crisis among young people, Sutter Health partnered with us to develop Scout - a groundbreaking mental health and resilience app designed specifically for teens and young adults. This innovative platform makes mental health care and intervention more accessible for Sutter Health's young patient population.

The Challenge

With anxiety and depression rates reaching record highs among young people, Sutter Health needed to create an accessible, trustworthy digital solution that could provide immediate mental health support and build resilience in youth. The challenge was to develop a secure, engaging platform that would resonate with young users while maintaining strict privacy standards.

The Approach

We took a collaborative, user-centered approach by partnering with a youth advisory board throughout development. This ensured the app would truly serve its target demographic's needs. We also developed a novel learning management system that prioritizes user privacy by abstracting personal identifiable information.
